'How Do You Know' gets rerated PG-13

After losing its ratings battle with the Classification and Rating Appeals Board last week, Sony altered James L. Brooks' romantic comedy "How Do You Know," so that it could get a PG-13 rating.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony altered one usage of the word "f**k" so that it could overturn the original R rating.
This is crucial for the financial success of the film as R ratings frequently limit a film's box office intake, especially during the holiday season.
"How Do You Know" stars Reese Witherspoon, Jack Nicholson, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson and will be released wide on Dec. 17.
