15 animated features qualify for Oscar run

Los Angeles - Fifteen animated features have been accepted for consideration for an Oscar, but only three will make it onto the shortlist of nominees, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Monday.
The list includes the current box office hit Megamind, as well as Toy Story 3, How To Train Your Dragon, and Shrek Forever After.
Under Oscar rules, only three films can be nominated if less than 15 movies qualify for consideration.
The 83rd Academy Awards nominations will be announced live on January 25, 2011, while the Oscar ceremony will take place on February 27.
