De Niro, Kutcher, Pfeiffer, Swank love 'New Year's'

Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Hilary Swank are in talks to board the cast of New Line's ensemble comedy "New Year's Eve."
According to Variety, the film will be a spinoff of Garry Marshall's "Valentine's Day."
Marshall will return to direct, along with producers Mike Karz and Wayne Rice, and screenwriter Katherine Fugate.
New Line will release the film on December 9, 2011.
Lea Michele and Abigail Breslin have already been cast.
The film will be set in New York and follow the intertwining romantic stories of several characters on New Year's Eve.
Kutcher was in "Valentine's Day," but he will play a different character in "New Year's Eve." He was last seen in "Killers."
De Niro will be seen next in "Little Fockers."
Pfeiffer was last seen in "Cheri."
Swank is currently starring in "Conviction."
