'Megamind' wins record box office weekend

Paramount/DreamWorks Animation's 3D cartoon "Megamind" won the domestic box office over a record-setting November opening weekend with $47.7 million.
According to Variety, estimates for the weekend ranged from $154 million to $157 million, which beat out the previous November opening-weekend record of $153 million set in 2003.
Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' Todd Phillips comedy "Due Date" opened in the No. 2 spot with $33.5 million.
Lionsgate's Tyler Perry film "For Colored Girls" debuted at No. 3 with $20.1 million.
Summit's "Red" placed No. 4 with $8.9 million for a domestic cumulative of $71.9 million.
Lionsgate's "Saw 3D" finished No. 5 with $7.3 million for a domestic cumulative of $38.8 million.
