Sally Field, Martin Sheen close to 'Spider-Man'

Sally Field and Martin Sheen are in final talks to join the cast of Sony's untitled "Spider-Man" reboot.
According to Variety, Marc Webb is directing with James Vanderbilt writing the script.
The cast includes Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans.
Field would play Aunt May, the matriarch of Peter Parker's family while Sheen would play Uncle Ben.
The plot is being kept under wraps but it is known that the story will focus on Peter Parker/Spider-Man as a teenager.
Matt Tolmach, Avi Arad, Todd Black, Grant Curtis and Laura Ziskin are producing.
Production begins in December and will be released in 3D on July 3, 2012.
