Brad Pitt looking for a 'Trade'
By Adnan Tezer Nov 3, 2010, 18:23 GMT
Brad Pitt is in talks to star in the mob heist comedy "Cogan's Trade."
According to Variety, Andrew Dominick is directing from his own script.
This would reunite Pitt with Dominick, who wrote and directed 2007's "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" that starred Pitt.
Dominik is looking to cast some of his other "Jesse James" actors for the film, with names such as Sam Rockwell and Casey Affleck being mentioned, along with Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem.
The film centers on Jackie Cogan (Pitt), a mob enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a mob-protected poker game.
Pitt is producing with Dede Gardner through their Plan B, along with Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz from Chockstone. Inferno's Bill Johnson and Jim Seibel will executive produce along with Marc Butan.
Pitt will be seen opposite Sean Penn in Terrence Malick's upcoming "The Tree of Life," and Bennett Miller's "Moneyball."
