Kali Hawk believes in the 'Peeples'

Kali Hawk has joined the cast of the Lionsgate comedy "We the Peeples."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tina Gordon Chism ("Drumline") wrote the screenplay and will make her directorial debut.
The cast includes Kerry Washington, Craig Robinson and David Alan Grier.
The story follows a child psychologist (Robinson) who surprises his girlfriend (Washington) by showing up at her political family's annual reunion and finds out that they desperately need therapy.
Hawk will play Washington's sister.
Tyler Perry will produce through his 34'th Street Films along with Matt Moore, Tyler Perry Studios president Ozzie Areu, Paul Hall and Stephanie Allain.
Lionsgate will distribute, with shooting set to begin in Connecticut in November.
Hawk appeared in Universal's "Couples Retreat." She'll be seen in the upcoming films "Answers to Nothing," "Let Go" and Judd Apatow's "Bridesmaids."
