Michael Sheen will reprise his role as a vampire leader in Summit's "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."

According to Variety, Sheen will return in the role of Aro, the leader of the Volturi vampire clan.

Summit announced in June that it would split the final film in two, with the first set to open Nov. 18, 2011, and the final on Nov. 16, 2012.

The final book in Stephenie Meyer's four-book series follows mortal Bella (Kristen Stewart) as she marries the vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and gives birth to a half-human, half-vampire baby daughter, Renesmee.

Bill Condon is directing "Breaking Dawn" with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Meyer producing. Melissa Rosenberg is adapting the screenplay.

Filming is underway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Sheen's upcoming credits include "Tron: Legacy," "Beautiful Boy" and Woody Allen's romantic comedy "Midnight in Paris."
