By Adnan Tezer Oct 26, 2010, 20:05 GMT
Mark Wahlberg is in final talks to star in Seth MacFarlane's feature directing debut "Ted."
According to Variety, MacFarlane wrote the script with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
Scott Stuber is producing the comedy for Universal through his Stuber Pictures along with MacFarlane, John Jacobs and Wild.
The film focuses on a grown man (Wahlberg) whose beloved teddy bear comes to life, fulfilling a childhood wish.
MacFarlane, best known as the creator of "Family Guy," will voice the CGI teddy bear.
Wahlberg will be seen this December in Relativity Media and Paramount's "The Fighter," opposite Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Melissa Leo.
