By Adnan Tezer Oct 20, 2010, 20:43 GMT
Christopher Walken has joined the cast of Todd Solondz's new independent drama "Dark Horse."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast includes Mia Farrow, Selma Blair, Jordan Gelber, Justin Bartha, Zachary Booth, Donna Murphy and Aasif Mandvi.
Ted Hope is producing through his Double Hope Films along with Derrick Tseng.
The film focuses on an awkward young man (Gelber) who lives with his parents (Walken and Farrow), reluctantly works for his father and obsessively collects toys. He seeks out an equally awkward young woman (Blair) in the hopes of shedding the "dark horse" status in his family.
Principal photography began this week in New York's Westchester County and Long Island.
Solondz's last film was "Life During Wartime," which opened this past April.
Walken's recent credits include "Life's a Beach" and "The Maiden Heist."
