Eddie Murphy to pull off a 'Heist'

Eddie Murphy will star in the Universal comedy "Tower Heist," opposite Ben Stiller and Alan Alda.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brett Ratner is directing.
The project has seen several writers come and go, with Jeff Nathanson having rewritten the latest screenplay by Ted Griffin.
The story follows an overworked residence manager (Stiller) of an exclusive apartment building who leads a team of the building's operations and maintenance workers on a meticulously planned heist of its penthouse tenant, a Wall Street player (Alda) who defrauded the workers of their pensions.
Murphy will play a safecracker who aids Stiller and his gang.
Brian Grazer will produce with Karen Kehela Sherwood and Kim Roth executive producing for Imagine Entertainment. Murphy is also executive producing.
Murphy's latest films have included "Shrek Forever After," "Imagine That" "Meet Dave" and "Norbit."
