Sandra Bullock could find her 'Gravity'

Warner Bros. is in negotiations with Sandra Bullock for the lead role in Alfonso Cuaron's 3D space film "Gravity," opposite Robert Downey Jr.
According to Variety, Natalie Portman passed on the role due to scheduling conflicts.
The female lead has been one of the most highly sought after roles in Hollywood after Angelina Jolie pulled out due to salary/scheduling conflicts. Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively had been thought to be the finalists for the role until Portman was offered it.
Cuaron is directing from a script he co-wrote with his son, Jonas.
David Heyman is producing through his Heyday Films along with Legendary Pictures.
The film revolves around a female astronaut fighting to survive on a remote space station after satellite debris wipes out the rest of her crew and destroys most of the station.
Bullock was last seen in her Oscar-winning role for "The Blind Side." She is also circling the film "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close," opposite Tom Hanks.
