Edward Burns balances the 'Ledge'

Edward Burns and Genesis Rodriguez have boarded the cast of Summit's thriller "Man on a Ledge."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Asger Leth is directing from an original script by Pablo Fenjves, with rewrites by Chris Gorak and the team of Erich and Jon Hoeber.
The cast includes Sam Worthington, Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell and Anthony Mackie.
Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian and David Ready are producing with shooting underway in New York.
The film focuses on a fugitive ex-cop (Worthington) threatening to jump off the ledge of a high-rise building while an NYPD hostage negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) tries to talk him down. She soon realizes the suicide attempt is really a diversion for a diamond heist.
Burns recently wrapped production on "Nice Guy Johnny," which he directed and stars in.
Rodriguez recently booked the female lead in "Casa de mi padre," Will Ferrell's Spanish-language comedy.
