Tom Hanks may let 'Sleeping Dogs' lie

Tom Hanks is rumored to be the first actor to join Paramount's "Sleeping Dogs," Kathryn Bigelow's follow-up to her Oscar-winning film "The Hurt Locker."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project was previously known as "Triple Frontier."
Bigelow will be working with her "Hurt Locker" writer Mark Boal.
The story is set in the organized crime-laden border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil, and centers on five men working in the zone.
The project has become a hot property after "Hurt Locker's" Oscar wins, with numerous actors, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Sean Penn and Jeremy Renner, reportedly circling the project.
