'Wall Street' takes over weekend box office

20th Century Fox's "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" won the domestic box office over the weekend as it debuted with $19 million.
According to Variety, the sequel to the 1987 original "Wall Street" reunites director Oliver Stone and Michael Douglas, who won a best actor Oscar for his iconic portrayal of financial raider Gordon Gekko in the film.
Warner Bros.' 3D "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole" opened at No. 2 with $16.3 million.
Warner Bros.' "The Town" fell to No. 3 with $16 million for a domestic cumulative of $49.1 million.
Sony's "Easy A" placed No. 4 with $10.7 million for a domestic cumulative of $32.8 million.
Disney's "You Again" debuted at No. 5 with $8.3 million.
