Elizabeth Banks balances on the 'Ledge'

Elizabeth Banks has joined the cast of Summit Entertainment's cop thriller "Man on a Ledge."
According to Variety, Asger Leth is directing a cast that includes Sam Worthington, Anthony Mackie and Jamie Bell.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing along with Mark Vahradian and David Ready.
The film focuses on a female NYPD psychologist who tries to talk an ex-cop-turned-con out of jumping from a Manhattan hotel rooftop. It is later revealed that the suicide attempt is really a diversion for a diamond heist.
The original script was written by Pablo Fenjves. Chris Gorak did a rewrite with the writing team of brothers Erich and Jon Hoeber polishing.
Banks will be seen in Lionsgate's "The Next Three Days," which opens November 16.
