Lionsgate falls into 'Rabbit Hole'

Lionsgate has won North American distribution rights to the Nicole Kidman-Aaron Eckhart drama "Rabbit Hole," which it will open in December for awards consideration.
According to Variety, "Rabbit Hole" is the first film from Kidman and Per Saari's production company Blossom Films.
Olympus Productions' Leslie Urdang and Dean Vanech and Odd Lot Entertainment's Gigi Pritzker produced along with Kidman and Saari.
The film was directed by John Cameron Mitchell and adapted by David Lindsay-Abaire from his Pulitzer Prize-winning play about a couple (Kidman, Eckhart) that lose their child.
The cast includes Dianne Wiest, Tammy Blanchard, Giancarlo Esposito and Sandra Oh.
