Jamie Bell close to the 'Ledge'

Jamie Bell is in final talks to join Summit Entertainment’s police thriller "Man on a Ledge." According to Variety, Sam Worthington is attached to star with Asger Leth directing from a Pablo Fenjves script. Earlier this week, Anthony Mackie ("The Hurt Locker") entered into talks to join the cast.The film focuses on a female NYPD psychologist who tries to talk an ex-cop-turned-con out of jumping from a Manhattan hotel rooftop. It is later revealed that the suicide attempt is really a diversion for a diamond heist.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian and David Ready are producing.

Bell’s recent credits include "Jumper" and "Defiance," and stars in Steven Spielberg's upcoming "The Adventures of Tin Tin: The Secret of the Unicorn."
