Katie Holmes is in negotiations to join Adam Sandler and Al Pacino in the Columbia comedy "Jack and Jill."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is being directed by Dennis Dugan.
The film focuses on Jack, a family man, who deals with his twin sister, Jill, when she visits for Thanksgiving then won't leave.
Sandler will play both the Jack and Jill characters.
Holmes would play Sandler's wife; Pacino is playing himself.
Sandler is producing through his Happy Madison company along with Jack Giarraputo and Todd Garner. Shooting is scheduled to begin in October.
Holmes can be seen in the upcoming romantic drama "The Romantics" and recently wrapped the crime thriller "Son of No One." She stars in the Guillermo del Toro-produced horror film "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark," which Miramax opens Jan. 21.
She is currently shooting History's miniseries "The Kennedys," playing Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
