Actors sign up for 'Trouble'

Columbus Short, Jesse Spencer and Wilmer Valderrama have signed on to star in the independent thriller "The Girl Is in Trouble."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Julius Onah is directing from a script he co-wrote with Mayuran Tiruchelvam.
Jen Gatien, Robert Profusek and Ryan Silbert are producing with Spike Lee executive producing.
The film focuses on a bartender who finds himself mixed up in a murder mystery involving a desperate woman, a missing drug dealer and a powerful investment firm.
Shooting begins next week in New York.
Short recently appeared in "The Losers," "Armored," "Death at a Funeral," "Whiteout," "Quarantine" and "Stomp the Yard."
Spencer can be seen on Fox’s "House," and has appeared in the films "Uptown Girls" and "Swimming Upstream."
Valderrama can be currently seen in "The Dry Land." His other roles include "Fast Food Nation," "Unaccompanied Minors" and "Party Monster."
