'Other Guys' arrests weekend box office

Sony's comedy "The Other Guys," starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, won the domestic box office over the weekend as it opened with $35.6 million.
"Guys" dethroned Warner Bros.' "Inception," which fell to the No. 2 spot with $18.6 million after a three-week reign atop the domestic box office.
According to Variety, the domestic cumulative for "Inception" stands at $227.7 million.
Disney's dance film "Step Up 3D" opened at No. 3 with $15.5 million.
Sony’s action thriller "Salt" came in at No. 4 with $11.1 million for a domestic cumulative of $92 million.
Paramount’s comedy "Dinner for Schmucks" finished at No. 5 with $10.5 million for a domestic cumulative of $46.7 million.
