By Adnan Tezer Aug 5, 2010, 2:52 GMT
Summit Entertainment will release the fifth and final "Twilight" film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2," on November 16, 2012.
According to Variety, the date will be almost a full year after Summit releases "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" on November 18, 2011.
Shooting will begin on the "Breaking Dawn" films this fall in Vancouver and Baton Rouge, La., and will continue over the next year.
Bill Condon will direct the final book in author Stephenie Meyer's four-book vampire series.
"Breaking Dawn" centers on the mortal Bella and the vampire Edward being married, and Bella giving birth to a half-vampire, half-human daughter, Renesmee.
Stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles.
The franchise has grossed more than $1.6 billion in worldwide box office.
Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Meyer are producing. Melissa Rosenberg has adapted each book and is working on the fourth.
