Richard Lewis to join 'Vamps'

Richard Lewis has joined the cast of the romantic horror-comedy "Vamps."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amy Heckerling is directing from her own script.
The cast includes Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter and Sigourney Weaver.
The film focuses on two female vampires (Silverstone and Ritter) in modern-day New York City as they deal with their problematic love lives.
Red Hour Films is producing with Lauren Versel of Lucky Monkey Pictures and Molly Hassell.
Principal photography begins next month in Detroit.
Heckerling previously directed Silverstone in 1995’s "Clueless."
Lewis has appeared in the films "Leaving Las Vegas," "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" and "Drunks." He is a regular on the HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
