Rihanna agrees to sink a 'Battleship'

Pop singer Rihanna will make her feature film debut in Universal's 2012 summer film "Battleship," based on Hasbro's naval combat board game.
According to Variety, Peter Berg is directing a cast that includes Alexander Skarsgård and Taylor Kitsch.
Plot details are scarce but it is known that the film will take place on land, sea and air as it follows a battle for planet survival.
Universal has set a May 25, 2012 release date for the film.
Berg is producing along with Sarah Aubrey of Film 44; Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir of Hasbro and Scott Stuber of Stuber Pictures.
Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber wrote the screenplay, with rewrites done by Brian Koppelman and David Levien.
