Andy Tennant will direct the supernatural romance "Adaline," starring Katherine Heigl.
According to Variety, production will begin early next year.
Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi, and Sidney Kimmel of Sidney Kimmel Entertainment are producing along with Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin and Alix Madigan.
The screenplay was written by Mills Goodloe and Sal Paskowitz with revisions by Allison Burnett.
The film centers on a beautiful woman (Heigl) who has not aged for the past 100 years that meets a man who might be worth risking her life to regain her mortality.
Heigl will begin production on "One for the Money" for Lionsgate, portraying Stephanie Plum in an adaptation of the Janet Evanovich novel. She'll be seen next in Warner Bros.' dramatic comedy "Life as We Know It," which opens in December.
Tennant's credits include "The Bounty Hunter," "Hitch" and "Sweet Home Alabama."
