'Inception' wins weekend box office

Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures' "Inception," directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, won the domestic box office over the weekend as it opened to $60.4 million.
Universal's "Despicable Me" came in at No. 2 with $32.7 million for a domestic cumulative of $118.4 million.
Disney's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" came in at No. 3 with $17.4 million over the weekend.
According to Variety, the film has a domestic cumulative of $24.5 million after opening wide on Wednesday.
Summit’s "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" finished at No. 4 with $13.5 million for a domestic cumulative of $264.9 million.
Disney's "Toy Story 3" came in at No. 5 with $11.5 million for a domestic cumulative of $362.4 million.
