Kathryn Morris is in talks to join the cast of the Columbia Pictures baseball film "Moneyball."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast includes Brad Pitt, Robin Wright, Jonah Hill, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Stephen Bishop.
The film is based on the bestselling Michael Lewis book about Billy Beane, the former baseball player who found success as the Oakland A’s general manager fielding competitive teams for low cost.
Morris will play the second wife of Beane (Pitt).
Bennett Miller is directing from a script by Steven Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin.
Shooting begins in Los Angeles next week with Scott Rudin and Michael De Luca producing.
Morris is best known for her starring role on CBS's "Cold Case." She has also appeared in the films "Minority Report," "Resurrecting the Champ" and "Paycheck."
