'Despicable Me' brings wonderful box office

Universal's 3D cartoon "Despicable Me" won the domestic box office weekend as it opened with an impressive $60.1 million.
Summit Entertainment's "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" came in at No. 2 with $33.4 million for a domestic cumulative of $237 million.
Twentieth Century Fox's "Predators" opened at No. 3 with $25.3 million.
Disney and Pixars "Toy Story 3" finished at No. 4 with $22 million for a domestic cumulative of $340.2 million.
According to Variety, "Toy Story 3" has passed "Finding Nemo" ($339.7 million) as the top grossing Pixar cartoon of all time domestically and is the No. 2 Disney film of all time domestically after "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" ($423.3 million).
Paramount's 3D fantasy "The Last Airbender" came in at No. 5 with $17.2 million for a domestic cumulative of $100.2 million.
