Virginia Madsen to go 'Riding'

Virginia Madsen has boarded the cast of the Warner Bros. thriller "Red Riding Hood."
According to Variety, Madsen joins a cast that includes Amanda Seyfried, Lukas Haas, Shiloh Fernandez, Julie Christie and Gary Oldman.
The film is a gothic retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story, which is set in a village haunted by a werewolf.
Madsen will play the mother of Amanda Seyfried's character.
Catherine Hardwicke is directing from a script by David Leslie Johnson with a March 11, 2011 release date set.
Leonardo DiCaprio is producing through his Appian Way production company along with Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Michael Ireland and Alex Mace.
Madsen was last seen in "The Haunting in Connectict" and is starring in ABC's "Scoundrels."
