Summit Entertainment’s "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" won the four-day Independence Day weekend with $82.5 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Eclipse" has grossed $175.3 million since opening last Wednesday.
Paramount's 3D family adventure "The Last Airbender," which opened Thursday, came in at No. 2 with $53.2 million over the weekend. The film has a domestic cumulative of $70.5 million.
Disney/Pixar's "Toy Story 3" finished at No. 3 with $42.2 million for a $301.1 million domestic cumulative.
Sony's comedy "Grown Ups" came in at No. 4 with $26.5 million for a domestic cumulative of $85.1 million.
Fox's "Knight and Day" finished at No. 5 with $14 million for a domestic cumulative of $49.3 million.
