Abigail Spencer saddles up with 'Cowboys'

Abigail Spencer has joined the cast of Jon Favreau's sci-fi Western "Cowboys and Aliens," for DreamWorks Studios and Universal.
According to Variety, the cast includes Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach and Paul Dano.
The film is set in the Old West, where cowboys and Native Americans join forces to battle a group of aliens.
The film is currently shooting in New Mexico and will open July 29, 2011. Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Steven Spielberg and Mitchell Rosenberg are producing. Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, also producers, wrote the script with Damon Lindelof.
Spencer is best known for her roles on AMC’s "Mad Men" and TNT’s "Hawthorne."
