Spike Lee is in talks to direct the action-thriller "Nagasaki Deadline."
According to Variety, Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment will produce.
Alcon’s Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson are co-producing with Kira Davis of 8:38 Productions, and Jon Landau and Rae Sanchini.
"Nagasaki" writers David and Peter Griffiths ("The Hunted," "Collateral Damage") will executive produce.
William Broyles Jr. ("Cast Away") re-wrote the Griffiths' original script.
The plot focuses on an emotionally damaged FBI agent who must use his knowledge of historical events in a race against the clock to stop a terrorist plot.
Lee's recent directing credits include "Miracle at St. Anna" and "Inside Man."
