'Preacher' cast set

Michelle Monaghan, Madeline Carroll, Kathy Baker and Souleymane Sy Savane have joined the cast of Lionsgate’s "Machine Gun Preacher."
According to Variety, Gerard Butler and Michael Shannon have already been cast.
The film is based on the true story of Sam Childers (Butler), a drug-dealing biker who would go on to spend time in the most dangerous parts of Sudan and Uganda rescuing young war victims.
Marc Forster will direct from a Jason Keller screenplay with shooting set to begin July 5 in Detroit and South Africa.
A fall 2011 release date has been set.
Forster will produce through his Apparatus production company with Robbie Brenner; Gary Safady and Craig Chapman of Kaushi Entertainment; and Deborah Giarratana of GG Filmz.
