Garner, Nolte looking at 'Arthur' remake

Jennifer Garner and Nick Nolte are in negotiations to join the cast of Warner Bros.' remake of "Arthur."
According to Variety, the cast includes Russell Brand, Helen Mirren and Greta Gerwig.
Garner will play the role of a wealthy heiress who is about to marry the title character (Brand) in an arranged marriage.
Nolte will play Garner's father, a tough, self-made millionaire who threatens Arthur with physical harm if he doesn't marry his daughter.
The 1981 original starred Dudley Moore, Liza Minnelli and John Gielgud.
Jason Winer will direct the remake with Larry Brezner, Chris Bender and Kevin McCormick producing.
Peter Baynham, who was a writer on Sacha Baron Cohen's "Borat" and "Bruno," wrote the script.
