Max Minghella has joined the cast of the New Regency-Summit supernatural film "The Darkest Hour."
According to Variety, Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby and Joel Kinnaman have already been cast.
The film will shoot this summer in Moscow with Tom Jacobson and Timur Bekmambetov producing.
Chris Gorak ("Right at Your Door") will direct from a screenplay by Les Bohem and Jon Spaihts.
The film centers on a group of Americans vacationing in Moscow who are forced to fight for their survival when an alien invasion occurs.
Minghella, son of the late director Anthony Minghella, will be seen in Sony's upcoming "The Social Network" in October.
