Dania Ramirez has booked the female lead in Columbia Pictures' action-thriller "Premium Rush" opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
According to Variety, David Koepp is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Kamps.
Story centers on a New York bike messenger (Gordon-Levitt) pursued by a corrupt cop desperate to get his hands on an envelope picked up by the messenger at Columbia University.
Gavin Polone is producing with shooting set to begin in mid-July in New York.
Ramirez is best known for her work on NBC’s "Heroes." She’ll be next seen in HBO's "Entourage." Gordon-Levitt can be seen in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film "Inception."
