Katia Winter in the middle of 'Deathgames'

Swedish actress Katia Winter has booked the female lead in MPCA's independent action movie "Deathgames."
Kellan Lutz, Samuel L. Jackson, Nina Dobrev, Daniel Dae Kim and James Remar have already been cast.
The story centers on a young man (Lutz) who is kidnapped and forced into the savage world of modern gladiator fighting, in which men battle to the death for the entertainment of online masses in games orchestrated by Jackson.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Winter will play a character who is employed by Jackson to lure potential gladiators.
The film is now shooting in Louisiana.
Jonah Loop, a former visual effects supervisor, is making his directorial debut on the film. MPCA's Brad Krevoy and Mike Callaghan are producing with Mark Williams.
Winter has appeared in the films "The Symmetry of Love" and "Level Playing Field."
