Cary Elwes joins Reitman film

Cary Elwes has boarded the cast of Paramount's untitled Ivan Reitman comedy opposite Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher.
The film, previously known as "Friends With Benefits," focuses on the question of whether two friends can have a purely sexual relationship without falling in love.
Elwes will play a physician who develops a flirtatious relationship with Portman's character.
According to Variety, Reitman is directing from an Elizabeth Meriwether script.
Reitman's Montecito Picture Company is producing along with Portman's handsomecharliefilms company and Kutcher's Katalyst company.
Paramount has set a January 7 release date for the film.
Elwes was recently cast as George Harrison in Robert Zemeckis' remake of The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine."
