Dobrev joins 'Deathgames'

Nina Dobrev has joined the cast of the independent action film "Deathgames."
Kellan Lutz, Samuel L. Jackson, Daniel Dae Kim and James Remar have already been cast.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, shooting is underway in Louisiana.
The story centers on Lutz’s character that is kidnapped and forced into a modern gladiator arena, where men fight to the death for an online audience in games orchestrated by Jackson.
Dobrev will play Lutz’s wife.
Jonah Loop, a former visual effects supervisor, is making his directorial debut on the film.
Brad Krevoy and Mike Callaghan are producing with Mark Williams.
Dobrev stars on CW’s "The Vampire Diaries." She recently appeared in Atom Egoyan’s "Chloe," and will be seen in Screen Gems’ upcoming thriller "The Roommate" with Leighton Meester.
