Liotta knows about 'Things'

Ray Liotta has joined the cast of the independent drama "Things Fall Apart."
The cast includes Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Lynn Whitfield, comedian Mike P, Steve Eastin and Mario Van Peebles. Van Peebles is directing from a script by Jackson and Brian Miller.
According to Variety, Jackson and Randall Emmett are producing the film through their Cheetah Vision Films production company.
The film focuses on a star football running back, played by Jackson, who faces several personal challenges while in his senior year in college.
Liotta will play a doctor in the film. Shooting is underway in Michigan.
Liotta last appeared in "Crazy on the Outside."
