Lake Bell and Guy Brannum have boarded the cast of Paramount's untitled Ivan Reitman romantic comedy starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher.
The film centers on the question of whether two long-term friends can have a purely sexual relationship without falling in love.
The cast includes Greta Gerwig, Kevin Kline, Ophelia Lovibond and Ben Lawson.
Bell will portray a producer on the television show for which Kutcher's character works, while Brannum will make his feature acting debut.
According to Variety, Reitman is directing from Elizabeth Meriwether's script.
Paramount has set a Jan. 7 release date.
Reitman's Montecito Picture Co. is producing along with Portman's handsomecharliefilms production company and Kutcher's Katalyst production company.
Bell recently starred in "It's Complicated" and will be in season 2 of HBO's "How to Make It In America." Brannum is a writer/standup comic and a frequent commentator on "Chelsea Lately."
