Sharlto Copley has left the DreamWorks film "I Am Number Four" and has been replaced by Timothy Olyphant.
According to Variety, Copley ("District 9") had to leave the film due to conflicts with his upcoming press obligations for Fox's "The A-Team."
Olyphant, who stars in the FX series "Justified," will shoot the film during his hiatus from the show.
Story revolves around a group of nine aliens who escaped their planet just before it was destroyed by a rival species. Hiding out on Earth, disguised as a human teenager, the title character (Alex Pettyfer) discovers that he is still being hunted by the enemy species.
Olyphant will play Henri, a guardian and mentor to Pettyfer’s character.
D.J. Caruso is directing from a script by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Marti Noxon.
