By Adnan Tezer May 11, 2010, 21:31 GMT
Colin Farrell and Toni Collette have boarded the cast of "Fright Night," DreamWorks' remake of the cult 1985 film.
They join Anton Yelchin in the remake, which follows the original idea of a teen (Yelchin) being convinced that his new neighbor is a vampire, though no one will believe him.
Farrell plays the role of the vampire, named Jerry, which Chris Sarandon played in the 1985 original. Collette plays Yelchin's mom.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Craig Gillespie is directing with Michael De Luca and Alison R. Rosenzweig producing.
Farrell recently wrapped a starring role in "London Boulevard," the directorial debut of Oscar-winning writer William Monahan.
Collette stars in "United States of Tara," which DreamWorks Television produces for Showtime.
