Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener will star in the indie drama "Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bruce Beresford ("Tender Mercies," "Driving Miss Daisy") will direct with shooting scheduled to begin in July in New York's Hudson River Valley.
Christina Mengert and Joseph Muszynski wrote the script.
The story focuses on a conservative lawyer (Keener) who, after her husband leaves her, takes her son and daughter to the house of their estranged, hippie grandmother (Fonda) in Woodstock, New York.
Brice Dal Farra, Claude Dal Farra, Lauren Munsch and Jonathan Burkhart are producing.
Keener recently starred in "Cyrus," "Please Give" and "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief."
Fonda’s last screen appearance was in 2007's "Georgia Rule."
