Purcell joins 'Killer' team

Dominic Purcell has joined the cast of the indie action-thriller "The Killer Elite" alongside Jason Statham and Clive Owen.
According to Variety, shooting is set to begin next month in Australia with Irish director Gary McKendry directing from a Matt Shering script.
Michael Boughen is producing with Steve Chasman and Joni Sighvatsson. Christopher Mapp, Matthew Street and David Whealy are executive producing.
"The Killer Elite," based on Ranulph Fiennes' novel "The Feather Men," revolves around a group of former British special forces members being hunted by a team of assassins led by Statham's Navy Seal character.
Purcell recently wrapped production on Rod Lurie’s remake of "Straw Dogs."
