Shia LaBeouf ready for 'Charlie'

Shia LaBeouf will star in the romantic action film "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" for Mandate Pictures.
According to Variety, Dante Ariola will direct from a script by Matt Drake.
Story centers on the titular character (LaBeouf) who falls in love with a woman who belongs to a violent crime lord with a gang of thugs at his disposal.
Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa of Bona Fide Productions are producing along with William Horberg. Dean Parisot and Mandate president Nathan Kahane are executive producing.
Production is expected to begin in fall.
LaBeouf appears in Oliver Stone’s upcoming "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
