Oscar-winning screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie and director Bryan Singer will team up again for New Line and Legendary Pictures’ "Jack the Giant Killer."
McQuarrie and Singer previously collaborated on "The Usual Suspects" and "Valkyrie."
McQuarrie is writing the current draft of the screenplay and Singer is about to begin casting.
Mark Bomback ("Live Free or Die Hard") and Darren Lemke ("Gemini Man") wrote previous drafts.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, production is set to begin this summer in England.
The story involves a young farmer leading an expedition to save a kidnapped princess in order to protect a long-standing peace between men and giants.
Neal Moritz is producing through his Original Film production company with David Dobkin.
