Jackman, Silverstone prefer 'Butter'

Hugh Jackman and Alicia Silverstone have joined the cast of the Weinstein Co. comedy "Butter."
Jim Field Smith will direct from a script by Jason Micallef, with production beginning this month.
Jennifer Garner stars as a Midwestern woman trying to win a local butter-carving contest. Ty Burrell plays her husband who is the defending champion of the contest.
Jackman will play a former lover of Garner's character, while Silverstone will play the adoptive mother of a teen girl (Yara Shahidi) who enters into the butter-carving contest. Ashley Greene has also been cast as the step-daughter of Garner's character.
According to Variety, Garner is producing with Mike De Luca.
