Jason Clarke has boarded the cast of the murder mystery "The Fields," starring Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jessica Chastain.
According to Variety, Michael Mann is producing with Michael Jaffe. Mann’s daughter, Ami Canaan Mann, is directing.
Production will start later this month in Louisiana.
The story focuses on two detectives investigating a series of unsolved murders in industrial wastelands surrounding Gulf Coast refineries.
Former DEA agent Donald F. Ferrarone wrote the screenplay.
Clarke recently booked the lead in the Fox drama pilot, "Ride Along," created by Shawn Ryan. He'll be seen in Oliver Stone’s "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" as well as David Schwimmer's "Trust."
Clarke was in Michael Mann's "Public Enemies" and had a starring role for three seasons on Showtime's "Brotherhood" series.
