Bryan Cranston close to 'Crowne'

Bryan Cranston is in final talks to co-star with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts in the dramatic comedy "Larry Crowne," which Hanks will direct for Universal.
The story centers on the title character (Hanks), who is fired from his job and decides to start over by enrolling in college. He bonds with his fellow students as well as a professor (Roberts).
Cranston plays Roberts' husband, a blogger who is obsessed with porn.
Hanks and Nia Vardalos wrote the script.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hanks is producing with his Playtone production company partner Gary Goetzman.
Production begins this month in Los Angeles.
Cranston has won consecutive Emmys for his performance in AMC's "Breaking Bad" and is shooting Disney's sci-fi film "John Carter of Mars."
